1. Commitment
-
I hold a full, enhanced DBS certificate and renew my safeguarding training annually (via NSPCC and my Qualified Tutor membership).

If I ever have a concern about a child’s safety, I will act promptly in line with this policy.

Student Zoom names must match their real name for identification. You will not be admitted if your name isn't recognised as a current student.
-
Students must put their cameras on at the start to say hello! They are encouraged to keep cameras on throughout the session, but this is optional.

Parents/guardians should ensure that the environment is safe, quiet, and free from distractions.
3. Recording of Sessions
-
Group sessions are be recorded for the benefit of students who miss a live lesson.
-
Recordings will not include full names or identifiable information. First names may be used in audio.

Recordings are not to be copied, shared, or redistributed by students or parents.
4. Boundaries of Tuition
-
Biosheps tuition supports learning, confidence, and exam technique. I will never complete coursework, essays, or assignments on behalf of students.

5. Reporting Concerns
-
Any safeguarding concerns will be taken seriously.
-
If I believe a child is at risk of harm, I have a duty of care to share this concern with parents/guardians.
-
If a concern suggests a child may be at risk of significant harm, I may escalate to the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), Children’s Services, or the NSPCC Helpline for advice.
-
Records of concerns will be kept securely and confidentially.
